6 Fall Hair Trends We Love

The leaves are falling, there’s a hint of chill in the air and pumpkin is everywhere: it’s officially autumn in Davie! With countless holidays and celebrations just around the corner, autumn is a fantastic time to reinvent your hair style. Whether you have a tried and true look for the cooler seasons or want to turn over a new leaf and unveil a bolder style, we have the inside scoop on the coolest hair trends for this fall:

1.  The Crimped Look

Crimped waves were one of the most notable hair trends back in the 1980s and it’s back just in time for fall. Back then, the look was typically created with a basic crimping iron. Today, you can choose from a crimping iron that creates wide, mid-sized or even tiny crimped waves. Regardless of which size, be sure to apply your favorite thermal protection product to the hair. If you’re going heat-free, you can get the look by braiding your hair and leaving the braid (or braids, for more volume) in place as you sleep. When you wake up, simply remove the braids and voila—a perfect heatless crimp! If you want to rock this look frequently throughout the fall, be sure to get a haircut at Inscape Beauty Salon to remove any split or dead ends first.

2. Adding Hair Barrettes

Another trend being revived from the ‘80s, barrettes have been spotted on runways around the world. The styles range from simplistic and elegant to large and attention-grabbing. In either case, a simple hair barrette can elevate your style to the next level for any occasion.

3. The Wet Look

The wet look prevailed as a top summer hair style in South Florida and it will retain its popularity throughout the fall months. Generally, the slicked back wet look is paired with straight, polished locks. Some of our favorite red-carpet knockouts, however, have also been seen sporting the wet look paired with finger waves and loose curls.

4. Low Ponytails

When the wind picks up in the cooler months of the year, a ponytail is a necessity. For fall and winter, low ponytails at the nape of the neck will be a hot trend. Be sure to use a hair tie that secures the hair loosely to prevent damage. If you’ve noticed hair loss or damage from tight ponytails, consider a hair treatment to restore your locks first.

5. Bronze Hues

In need of a new fall friendly hair color? Inscape Beauty Salon has noted a drastic increase in the demand for bronze hues in preparation for the fall season. A bronze tinge can be added to your base color to add a cozy, warm glow to your strands.

6. Hints of Color

If you are looking for a hair coloring service in Davie that offers a bold yet still refined look, consider adding a hint of color. This trend pairs a traditional base, such as brown or blonde, with an unexpected touch of vibrance. Some of the trendiest color pops for fall include pastel pinks, deep purples and flaming reds.
